You should never feed your pony small chunks of carrot as he may choke on them. Carrots cut into ‘fingers’ are best.

You should always give him a treat with a flat hand with the fingers together. This stops your pony from biting your fingers by mistake.

Hold the carrot out below your pony’s nose so he can reach for his treat!
