Hi fellow Pony Club members!
Today I went on my first hack at the new stables! I rode Toni and she was very good, at first it wasn't great because Muddy, the horse in front of me, kept backing up. Toni doesn't like other horses so that's why the first part wasn't great with Muddy backing up.
When we went into the woods it was great! We cantered lots and when Toni and I got left behind, she galloped ahead. I lost my stirrups at one point but it was fine and Toni is the first horse that I need to try and sit while she's cantering. On one canter I was left behind and Toni got scared of a puddle so she swerved into some branches and there was a big log with tons of branches on it and my stirrup got caught on it and I broke the log branch! It was really thick so it made a huge sound!
Overall, it was great and I can't wait to go on another hack with the new stables. Happy trails!
