Hiya,

Dani here.  Our pony club held a badge evening tonight (Wednesday 29th) and it was so much fun!

Autumn and Hero were there, and lots of other members who will hopefully do a blog for you to read sometime soon. We learnt about bandaging and rugs, which some of us have already got the badge for, so we helped the others and did the quiz for a re-cap.

But then, we had a special surprise when we were told that we could also try for the public speaking badge, where you have to speak about a certain badge for 2 minutes in front of everyone.  Hero went first, and she did it really well, then we all had a go and it was really funny because at the end we all got up onto the stage (we were lucky enough to use Rowen village hall which has great facilities) and all had a go together so the more nervous ones among us could join in. We had a great time!

We also have an interesting day next Wednesday, there is an awards presentation, and it's my birthday- there's not a better way to spend the evening than at pony club with my friends!!
