My First Ever Blog!

Hi!

Today we had a badge evening at pony club, which is where members and an instructor meet up and all work towards a badge. I think the achievement badges are a great way to learn and really help with practising for the tests. You make a project and learn about a certain area of horsemanship, caring, riding, or even about countryside and British culture.

Today we were learning about tack and turnout, and working towards the badge. Me and my friends Annie and Autumn have all attained our C standard so we wrote down all the many rules of turnout and the reasons behind them (when my pen decided to work, of course) and then we were asked to help the little ones to do their badgework, which was fun. We also introduced a new girl, Ffion, to our pony club which was great!

This weekend I'm a busy bee. On Saturday we have a working rally and on Sunday I've got a flatwork lesson in the morning on Emily, and then a mounted games rally where we're training for the team. I'm riding a different pony called Ozzie, so things might be interesting!
