Grace's Easter Holidays
Hi,
In the easter holidays, I went to bonfluer cross-country pony club rally with my best friend Amelia and her pony, Jodie. It was lots of fun and I even jumped the higher novice fences.
On Friday Holly, Jess, Amelia and I hired an outdoor arena at Eaglesfield showground. Riley (Hollys horse) completed his first ever showjumping course and did fantastically. Millie and I jumped a course of 2'6ft-2'9ft which I was really proud of her for. Amelia and Jess even jumped a couple of 3ft jumps!
On Saturday Amelia and I shampooed our ponies in preparation for the show on Sunday. We travelled to the Isle of Sheppey, (Amelias mum even braved towing over the bridge to get to the island!) We competed with our friends Rosie and Abby. We did really well and came 3rd, going through to the jump off with 0 faults. Abby (on Popstar) came 1st in individual and Rosie (African Queen) came 2nd.
It was a great end to my Easter holidays!
