Georgia Rides Pippin.
Hello Everyone,
On Wednesday 5th April I had a Pony Club day – I was so excited! When I arrived at the stables the people I was riding with and I got given our horses, I rode Pippin and what work she was!
First of all we groomed the ponies and Pippin was covered in mud from head to toe obviously from where she had been rolling around in all the mud. After that we tacked up and we rode for about 1hour and 30 minutes. Next we untacked and went into the ‘Chill out’ room for lunch, but as nobody knew each other everyone was dead silent – it was hilarious!!
After lunch we tacked up again and rode for approximately 2 hours, if I can remember rightly we did trotting poles, trot diagonals and just general trotting! Lastly we untacked – once again and put the ponies in their stables! And then at 4:00pm we (sadly) went home.
Overall though I had a fantastic day, I just can’t wait to have my own pony one day!!
